**PARTY CHARACTERS CT POLICIES**

Thank you for choosing PCC-Party Characters CT for your event. To ensure a successful and enjoyable experience, please review the following terms and conditions. By confirming your booking, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.

**Indoor Events:** Clients must provide sufficient space for our entertainers to interact safely with children and guests. Adequate ventilation is required; please keep a door or window open during the performance.

**Outdoor Events:** Performers require a flat, even surface (e.g., concrete, sidewalks, driveways, patios, or well-maintained lawns) free of hazards such as obstructions, narrow stairs, or slopes.

For safety and comfort, please designate an area for our entertainer to change if necessary. Our performers need a shaded area away from direct sunlight, dirt, mud, sand, strong winds, and rain. Weather conditions such as rain, snow, or hail can damage our high-quality costumes. If the location is deemed unsuitable due to weather, our performers may leave to prevent damage or personal injury. We recommend preparing an alternative location in the event of inclement weather.

**Weather Policy:** Our characters will not perform outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, snow, lightning, or hail. All appearances are contingent on weather conditions. We are willing to reschedule, subject to availability, or provide a “party credit” valid for one year if rescheduling is not feasible.

**Water Policy:** Our characters cannot perform on wet surfaces or in proximity to water-related activities, including water balloons or water guns. To maintain costume integrity, guests should refrain from approaching the characters with food or beverages.

**Pets:** For the safety of our performers, all pets must remain indoors during our visit. The host assumes responsibility for any damage to costumes.

**Timeliness:** Our events operate on a predetermined schedule. Late arrivals may join the event, but we cannot extend the duration beyond the agreed package.

**Arrival Window:** Please allow a 15-minute arrival window for our entertainer. For example, if your scheduled start time is 1:00 PM, our entertainer may arrive between 1:00 PM and 1:15 PM. This flexibility accommodates unforeseen delays and ensures an optimal experience for you and your guests.

**Payment Terms:**
– **Booking in Advance:** We recommend scheduling your event 3-6 weeks in advance to secure your desired date and time.
– **Late Bookings:** A $75 fee applies for bookings made within 2 days of the event.
– **Holiday Bookings:** A $175 fee applies for events on holidays.
– **Service Area:** Our service area extends within a 10-mile radius of our location. Additional travel fees may apply to certain locations. Please include your event location in your request for accurate rate determination.

**Booking Confirmation:** Our services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Dates are confirmed only once the contract is signed and payment is received. By making payment, you affirm your booking and acceptance of our policies.

**Cancellation and Rescheduling:**
– **Rescheduling:** Clients may request rescheduling up to 7 days prior to the event. Rescheduling is subject to availability and not guaranteed. If we are unable to accommodate a new date, a “party credit” valid for one year will be issued.
– **Cancellation:** If cancellation occurs without rescheduling, we will refund the payment made, minus a $150 cancellation fee.

**Additional Terms:**
– **Assistants:** Some characters may require an assistant for equipment management and activity guidance. An additional fee applies for photography services by assistants.
– **Photo Release:** By signing this contract, you authorize PCC-Party Characters CT to use photos taken during your event for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have photos taken or used, please inform us in advance.
– **Guest Behavior:** Guests are expected to behave appropriately. Performers reserve the right to leave if they experience inappropriate or hostile behavior, including verbal or physical abuse.
– **Noise and Distractions:** Please maintain low ambient noise levels and minimize distractions (e.g., bouncy houses and swimming pools) during the character visit.
– **Other Entertainers:** No other costume character entertainers are permitted without prior consent from PCC-Party Characters CT.
– **Gratuity:** Gratuity is not included in the total payment. If you wish to provide a gratuity, please inform us in advance or on the day of the event.

**Liability:** PCC-Party Characters CT, its owner, and employees are not liable for any accidents or injuries to guests or property damage. The client is responsible for any excessive damage to costumes and PCC-Party Characters CT property.

**Client Agreement:** By booking, the client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless PCC-Party Characters CT and its representatives from any property damage or bodily injury caused by guests or other attendees.
